Recap 2010

This is really not a recap of 2010, more like a quick run through of the past few months that I have neglected to blog about.  Father's Day was my last post.  That is terrible!  So much has happened since then.  These are just a few of the things we have been up to since June.

In June...

We celebrated Landon's 3rd birthday.
Happy Birthday Landon!

He got this really cool bike.

Toy Story 3 opened on Landon's birthday,
so we decided to take him and a couple of friends to go see it.

In July...

We took a trip to Texas to visit JoJo and Poppie.

We were there about a week and the kids loved the swimming pool.

In August...

My little princess turned one!

Happy Birthday Tessa!
How cute is she???

In September...

Landon started preschool.
I cannot believe how fast he is growing up!
He loves going with his little buddy Jeremy.

In October...

We were all about Halloween.
Landon was so into dressing up and being scared.  It made Halloween a lot of fun this year.
Landon was Zurg and Tessa was a little ballerina.

In November...

We celebrated Thanksgiving.
Not much going on the month of November, I just thought this picture was cute.

And then in December...

We went and saw Santa.
Landon actually loved Santa this year.  He loved him so much, he asked me if Santa could come over and watch Max & Ruby with him.
The kids loved Christmas.
2010 has been a great year.  I look forward to all the good times ahead in 2011.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Happy Father's Day!

"Father... is ever willing to sacrifice his own comfort for that of his children.  Daily he toils to provide the necessities of life, never complaining, ever concerned for the well-being of his family.  This love for his children, this desire to see them well and happy, is a constant in a time of change."
-Thomas S. Monson

Happy Father's Day Rich!!!

Thanks for all you do.
You are such a wonderful father.
We love you so much!!!

I hesitated posting this...
but it was such a good time I just had to!

Our last night in Boston we decided it was best if we ended the trip with a round off contest.

As you can see Rich took this very seriously.
He has an amazing round off, just look at that form.
HA!

 Mckay's technique is very unique!

 Grant giving it his all!

Then there was Laura, the best part of the round off contest.
Take a look...

If you can believe it Laura recovered from this landing.
I was so worried I was going to have to talk to her about a smile makeover.

I ended my round off with a little dance...

I have not done a round off in years!
It definitely made me realize I am no spring chicken!
I am embarrassed to say I was sore the next day!
SAD!!!

Such a good time!

Boston: Day 4

Landon
LOVES, LOVES, LOVES
 motorcycles!

When he saw this little blue motorcycle he had to ride it.
He was in heaven!

Saturday morning Rich and Landon took a ride on the little blue motorcycle.
After the motorcycle ride around the yard,
we headed off  to the local bowling alley to get our bowl on!

This was Landon's first time bowling and he loved it!
Even though we bowled with bumpers, he played a pretty good game.

Of course Rich played an amazing game.
I think his socks were his goodluck charm. Ha!

Boston: Day 3

Friday was another fun filled day.
The weather outside was nice and hot, perfect weather for the good old slip n' slide.

This slip n' slide was no ordinary slip n' slide.
Take a look...

It was HUGE!

The boys set it all up, letting the water run down and then throwing dish soap all over it to make it more slippery.

Sounds like fun, right?

Sure, for everyone but Landon.

Landon would not go down the slide!

Rich thought if he could just get Landon to go down just once, that he would love it.  So Rich decided he would help Landon go down the slide, by giving him a little push.

You can see by the look on poor Landon's face he was NOT having fun!
He did NOT appreciate dad's help.

There were a few tears shed,
but luckily Aunt Laura had popsicles to save the day.

Later that day we headed out to another baseball game.  This time Grant's baseball game.  On the way to the field we thought we should stop and get a delicious Dunkin' Donut.

Yum! Yum!

To finish the day, we all gathered around the fire to enjoy some tasty smores.

Tessa had a VERY long day.
As you can see she was beyond tired.

Landon surprised me this trip.
He just kept going and going, like the energizer bunny.
He could not get enough of all that was going on.

Landon loved the fire and of course the smores.
Good times on the farm!
