Boston: Day 4

Landon
LOVES, LOVES, LOVES
 motorcycles!

When he saw this little blue motorcycle he had to ride it.
He was in heaven!

Saturday morning Rich and Landon took a ride on the little blue motorcycle.
After the motorcycle ride around the yard,
we headed off  to the local bowling alley to get our bowl on!

This was Landon's first time bowling and he loved it!
Even though we bowled with bumpers, he played a pretty good game.

Of course Rich played an amazing game.
I think his socks were his goodluck charm. Ha!

Boston: Day 3

Friday was another fun filled day.
The weather outside was nice and hot, perfect weather for the good old slip n' slide.

This slip n' slide was no ordinary slip n' slide.
Take a look...

It was HUGE!

The boys set it all up, letting the water run down and then throwing dish soap all over it to make it more slippery.

Sounds like fun, right?

Sure, for everyone but Landon.

Landon would not go down the slide!

Rich thought if he could just get Landon to go down just once, that he would love it.  So Rich decided he would help Landon go down the slide, by giving him a little push.

You can see by the look on poor Landon's face he was NOT having fun!
He did NOT appreciate dad's help.

There were a few tears shed,
but luckily Aunt Laura had popsicles to save the day.

Later that day we headed out to another baseball game.  This time Grant's baseball game.  On the way to the field we thought we should stop and get a delicious Dunkin' Donut.

Yum! Yum!

To finish the day, we all gathered around the fire to enjoy some tasty smores.

Tessa had a VERY long day.
As you can see she was beyond tired.

Landon surprised me this trip.
He just kept going and going, like the energizer bunny.
He could not get enough of all that was going on.

Landon loved the fire and of course the smores.
Good times on the farm!

Boston: Day 2

Thursday was a loaded with fun.
We went to lunch and then headed over to Walmart and purchased hours of fun...
Water Guns and Bubbles!!!
Can't get anymore fun than that.  The kids were in heaven!

Once the kids were all bubbled and water gunned out, we headed to Mckay's baseball game.  At the field there was a little park for the kids to play on.

Slides and Swings!!!
Bring it on!

Boston: Day 1

Last Wednesday we all went to Boston to visit Aunt Laura and the gang. We left Utah at 10am and arrived in Boston at 5pm. It was definitely a long day, but the kids did great. Landon had his suitcase full of goodies for the flight and Tessa of course was great.

At the airport.
Landon was thrilled with his suitcase and poor Tessa is struggling to stay awake.

Finally on the plane.
Only 4 1/2 hours until we arrive to Boston!!!

The kids did really well on the flight. I think I struggled more than they did. I guess I was so excited to be going on vacation I could hardly wait to get there. I knew there was fun awaiting us.

And let the fun begin!

Once we got to Boston, we headed to Aunt Laura's house. Jane and Landon enjoyed a nice glass of chocolate milk and then ran upstairs to jump on the bed before going to bed.

I have a million pictures from this trip and plan to post of ton of them.
There will be more to come!

Days at the Park

When the sun is out we head out to the park! My sister lives close to Liberty Park, so we often take the kids over to feed the birds and play. The kids love it!
Tessa loving being outside and in a single stroller. Landon is not behind her constantly kicking her in the back

Landon giving us a nice smile on his scooter

Feeding the birds

Landon loved the big green slide.

There he goes again!

Notice anything different???

Notice anything different???

Tessa got her little ears pierced yesterday.
I think she looks so cute and girly. I love them! I have been wanting to pierce her ears for a few months now. We went to Classy Chassis last week to have them pierced and they told us no.
What?
Are you serious???
Why?
They told us she had to be 8 years or older. Oh brother!!! They told us they want the children who are getting their ears pierced to be able to make the decision for themselves. Again, oh brother!!! Am I bad for thinking that is a stupid rule? Well, I am glad we did it. I just think she looks so cute!

Luckily she has left her ears alone, if only I could get her to leave her hair bows alone.
